3-AXIS CNC MACHINING
3-axis machining centers represent the first evolution from traditional milling machines and operate along the X, Y, and Z axes to process the workpiece.
This technology is often used in multi-step workflows, where the part must be transferred across different workstations.
5-AXIS CNC MACHINING
5-axis machining allows complete operations in a single setup, as five surfaces of the component are machined simultaneously along five distinct axes: X, Y, Z, and two rotational axes (A and B or C).
With 5-axis positional machining, operator intervention is not required during repositioning, ensuring high accuracy across different faces of the part.
